Zoology a la PaperPhenomenon

If you haven't seen Kathy from Paper Phenomenon's Ustream classes you are missing out.  She creates fantastic scrapbook albums with lots of interactive elements an room for tons of photos.  When I saw her Zoo Book, I just had to make one for myself.  I added a couple of my own little elements, but the main design and construction of the book is all Kathy. I just want say thanks Kathy, you ROCK!

Gothic Halloween

It's October! Can't wait for a cool front to come down to South Florida and give us a taste of Fall!
I've got a Halloween Project to share today.  This mini album was inspired by a skeleton Cameo ornament I found at Michael's.  I kept the color scheme to black, purple and silver which gave this mini a dark gloomy look. A little elegant, a bit creepy, very gothic....

This mini is made from 6x9 envelopes each page is progressively longer giving the edge a stepped effect.  Each envelope has a pull out photo mat with the edge embellished with flowers, lace, or tulle.
Each page is decorated with hand dyed cheese cloth, die cuts, flowers, silver glitter flourishes, dry embossed photo mats, tags, and ribbon.  The Spine of the book is embellished with ribbon, lace, beads, a tiny "potion" bottle and a key.
